Niko Dobashi is a producer, songwriter, and DJ based in the U.S. (Los Angeles) and Japan (Tokyo).

Capable of composing and producing a wide variety of genres of music while mainly producing pop music, he has collaborated with many artists of different styles from both the US and Japan. He has also worked for some of the biggest cooperates, such as Adobe and Fujifilm.

Born to a father who is a full-time musician in Tokyo, Japan, Niko has been surrounded by music from early childhood. He started playing piano at the age of three.

He formed a rock band in high school and played at gigs until the Covid suddenly hit. During the quarantine, he grew his interest in producing music started recording and producing music. He began DJing at clubs in Tokyo when he was 18. 

He moved to New York City for college in 2023 where he developed his production skills and met many musicians to collaborate with. He also became obsessed with Jazz, going to jazz clubs in New York City every weekend. 

In 2024, he worked at marinoRECORDS, a music and video production company based in Tokyo, where he worked with some of the biggest clients.

He relocated himself to Los Angeles in January 2025.

He is fluent in English and Japanese.
